As Deaconesses, we are servants of the church. We are women of sound judgment, strong in character, benevolent in spirit, sympathetic and willing to serve any where or anytime. We are women dedicated and devoted to the children and feminine side of the church, both young and old. WE instill the love of Christ and respect for his standards of living in the hearts of our young women, along with maintaining a christian home.

Our Mission Statement
To carry out the great commission from Matthew 28:18-20, outlined in our church mission statement by showing compassion to the lost, providing food to those who are hungry, clothes to the needy, financial assistance to people in financial crisis, transportation to those who need it and witnessing to all about our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. To help spread the mission of the church both within and outside of our immediate community.
HOSPITALITY
The Hospitality Ministry is one of humility! We willingly submit ourselves to God and to others for God's Sake. We take great joy in welcoming each visitor and member into the body of Christ and serving in whatever capacity we are needed to help win souls for Christ and grow God's Kingdom.

**Our Media Ministry was reorganized in 2019 and alongside our traditional duties, we were retasked with providing a professional and stable virtual outreach ministry that extended outside the walls of the Mt. Zion Missionary Baptist Church. Later when we were Faced with The COVID pandemic, this previous tasking allowed The MZMBC to come to you via Our Official Facebook, YouTube and Website channels. By Livestreaming our Sunday Worship Service, Our Weekly Wednesday Night Bible Study and other special worship services allowed Members Visitors & Guest to worship right from your Television and or electronic devices. We will always be ready Serve You and to Remain Together as a faithful Christian Church Body In Person & Virtually.**

The mission of the usher ministry is to accommodate every congregants who enters the church with a seat in the most pleasant and efficient manner possible. We provide a comfortable, God-fearing and loving orderly atmosphere for the congregants to come and worship. To ensure that each member is safe and the sanctuary is setup for worship. To strive to make Mt. Zion Baptist Church a place where people want to join because of the care received from the ushers.

The Mt. Zion Missionary Baptist Church provides culinary services for church events from coffee and cookies to seated dinners- serving our families, friends, and guests with love and kindness. We have several standard menus available and will also customize a menu to meet the needs of each event. The members of the Culinary Ministry look forward to using their gifts to serve at any church or community function.
